Getting Started

Create a Board, add real work, open a Card's Room, and understand the basic Superboard loop.

Superboard gives one business, project, responsibility, or important part of life a clear home. You do not need to know kanban or project-management terminology to begin.

Start with one Board

Create a Board for one thing you are genuinely running: a product, client engagement, business, household, launch, or other responsibility.

Give it a clear name and Mission. The Mission should say what you are trying to accomplish and what matters about the result. Keep separate responsibilities on separate Boards; you can switch between them from the Boards library.

Use Lists to make the Board scannable

Lists are flexible sections. They may describe stages such as Next, In motion, Waiting, and Done, or stable parts of the responsibility you are running.

Create the smallest structure that helps you see the next decision. You can rename, move, and resize Lists later.

Add Cards for meaningful pieces of work

A Card can be a to-do, decision, customer, appointment, project, idea, or assignment. Use a title specific enough that you can understand it from the Board.

Cards can carry dates, priority when the Board enables it, assignees, categories, and progress from native Checklists. Dragging a Card changes its position; Superboard does not assume that higher always means more important.

Open a Card to enter its Room

The Board is the map. Opening a Card reveals the Room where that piece of work lives.

SurfaceWhat it is for
StageDocuments, native Checklists, files, and other work artifacts.
ChatDirection and conversation with the Room's context attached.
PulseCurrent facts, meaningful changes, and items that need attention.
ActivityThe attributed history of human and AI work.

Work in one simple loop

  1. Scan the Board for the whole picture.
  2. Open the Card that needs attention.
  3. Work in Stage or direct Ava in Chat.
  4. Review Pulse when something changed or needs judgment.
  5. Return to the Board with the context still attached.

Watch the save indicator

Superboard shows whether work is saved, syncing, offline, or needs attention. If a cloud save fails, follow the visible retry or recovery control. Do not close the page while Superboard says a write needs attention unless the product confirms a safe local copy.
